“Did the Rhine / Moselle river cruise with riviera travel. It was first class. The food was superb. Accommodation was excellent and we were in a lower deck cabin. Unfortunately there had been a lot of rain and water levels were so high that we couldn’t get under the bridges to access the Moselle. The staff arranged for coaches to take us to places instead so got to see some more lovely German countryside. All in all, we had a superb relaxing experience and have already booked for next year”

Crui.se quietly went the extra mile in getting us a cabin on a later sailing due to the boat’s operator cancelling the one we originally chose. We were a party of six needing three cabins but initially they only had two available on the later sailing. This is where Crui,se came to the rescue and obtained a cabin for us by appealing to Riviera Travel. At all times Crui.se’s staff were available for help and advice without hesitation and they are to be complimented.”

“We had a premium room, but it was still small, whilst the tiny table and 2 chairs were a nice idea they were not comfortable and really just took up valuable space. The shower room was a good size and well appointed.
The transfer to the boat was swift and it was nice that despite a late arrival we could get a snack at the bar and a night cap before bed. The communal rooms were functional. The cleaning was a little haphazard, finding someone else’s socks in the wardrobe and pants under the curtain was a little off putting.
The food was ample and mostly very good, there was a bit of a rush for the seating at 7pm so 6 of us could sit together but with a bit of organisation it was ok. The ships entertainment was ok, a bit of light-hearted fun with the quizzes and the music was pleasant. The trips off the boat were well organised and thoughtful to those people with mobility problems. The guides were very knowledgeable of the area and gave enough information. The Driver of our coach was good helping those that needed it. I didn’t expect a visit to the Douro Valley to be cheap, but I did think that based on ocean cruising it was expensive and not as luxurious as I thought it was going to be given the cost.
We were over charged on a spa treatment and despite emails were never refunded. The little attention to detail that make a big difference were missing which was a shame.”
