Burgundy, the River Rhône and Provence River Cruise with Lake Geneva and Golden Pass Extension Cruise Review

“The Lord Byron is a beautifully presented boat, and my cabin on Diamond Deck was extremely comfortable and provided everything I could wish for. I liked the French balcony idea with the sliding patio windows; it provided plenty of contact with the world outside without taking space out of the cabin. The crew was, without exception, amazing, friendly, and very efficient. The Riviera tour managers were knowledgeable, personable and thorough in their planning and communicated well with guests. Riviera, do a great job!”

Will I experience any noise when sailing?

When the ships are moving, you may hear some noise on board. This tends to be louder when the vessel is docking or manoeuvring to leave port. River conditions and the weather can also impact how much noise the ship makes. Cabins at the ship’s rear tend to be more affected by noise than those in the middle or towards the front of the vessel.
