Arrive at your contemporary river ship and enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Reception.
Day 2
Budapest
Learn the vibrant history of Budapest on a tour with your local guide. View the Fisherman’s Bastion, Heroes’ Square and Buda Castle.
Day 3
Vienna
Drive around Ringstrasse, arrive into the city centre and embark on a walking tour for an insider’s view to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Graben and Hofburg Palace. In the evening, enjoy an optional concert featuring musical options from Mozart to ‘The Sound of Music’.
Day 4
Vienna
Enjoy a day at leisure or opt for an optional excursion to Schonbrunn Palace. Alternatively, you may wish to cross the border to former soviet Bratislava.
Day 5
Durnstein / Wachau Valley / Melk
Stroll past rustic town houses and tavern and view the hilltop castle ruins where King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. You may wish to join an optional bike ride to Melk or sail through Wachau Valley to Melk and enjoy a tour through Melk Abbey.
Day 6
Aschach / Passau
Enjoy a relaxing day of sailing to Passau, complete with a traditional Bavarian experience on-board; sampling local beers and snacks accompanied by traditional folk music, song and dance.
Choose from an optional tour to Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic or pay a visit to Salzburg and enjoy sights from ‘The Sound of Music’.

Regensburg
Wander cobblestone lanes for a journey through the ages, touring historic streets, medieval buildings and cultural sites.
Day 8
Nuremberg (DISEMBARK)
Arrive at the site of Hitler’s infamous rallies during WWII. Take a guided tour, showcasing sights such as the Zeppelin Field and Palace of Justice.
Transfer to your hotel in Nuremberg for the night.
