Authentic Danube Cruise Review

“By far the most luxurious cruise we’ve ever been on. My wife and I booked this cruise with the Suite cabin for our anniversary and we have been overjoyed with the service we received. My wife loved the library and I spent much of my time on the ship sunbathing on the sun deck. Our favourite excursion has to be the visit to the hops harvesting fields. The beer was delicious and the scenery was beautiful. I was a big fan of the Nuremberg and World War Two rallying grounds tour since history is a hobby of mine. We can’t wait to go on another Uniworld cruise for our next anniversary.”

Pete and Maria Artingstall, Lancaster, Lancashire

Authentic Danube FAQ

Which cabin is the most expensive to buy?

The Suite is the most expensive room you can purchase for your stay aboard the River Princess. This is because you receive more amenities when you book the Suite compared to the other rooms available, which you can read about under the ‘Accommodation’ heading of this page beneath the ‘About The River Princess’ heading.

What kind of activities can we expect to be available on the Authentic Danube Cruise?

Austria and Germany offer a wealth of history, heritage and culture, and the Authentic Danube Cruise helps you discover it all with walking tours of towns, a private choir concert, craft beer tasting and more. You’ll also have many ways to keep yourself occupied aboard the River Princess, too, as the ship comes equipped with a library, three lounges and a sun deck.

What should I pack for my cruise?

What you pack is entirely your choice: our only advice is that you check the weather conditions of your cruise’s destinations closer to the embarkation date to ensure that you are as prepared as possible for any expected and unexpected weather conditions.
