Floral Delights of Holland Cruise Review

“We’ve always explored other parts of the Rhine, so cruising in the Netherlands was a new experience. Because so much of Holland is dominated by water, it’s definitely the best way to see this beautiful country. You might have heard about the bulb and flower displays, but seeing really is believing – they are remarkable. It was our first time with Saga Travel and the ship exceeded our expectations – it was truly the height of luxury and made a memorable cruise five-star.”

Floral Delights of Holland FAQ

Find answers to some of the most common questions about river cruising here.

Are there medical services on board the ship?

There isn’t a residential doctor on board the Spirit of the Rhine, but there is at least one trained first aider. If you bring medicines on your cruise, it can be useful to have details of this written down and kept in an obvious location in case you are taken ill during your holiday.

What are Gentle Walker Groups?

A Gentle Walker group is an alternative to shore excursions marked as a Walking Grade 4 or higher. Gentle Walker groups have a different itinerary to avoid flights of steps or steep inclines and descents. They also offer independent discovery time, so some guests opt for these groups so they can explore by themselves and at their own pace.

When is the balance payment due for my cruise?

The balance is due no later than 90 days before your sailing date. You can pay by calling our reservations team or online by clicking on ‘Manage My Booking.’ You can use a different card from the one you paid the deposit with. However, we don’t retain card details for security reasons, so if you want to use the same card, you still need to make the balance payment; it won’t be taken automatically.
