Captivating Rhine Cruise Review

“As experienced Danube cruisers, this was our first time on the Rhine, and I have to say, it really is as magical as everyone says. If you want stunning scenery and fairytale castles, this is the cruise for you. It doesn’t hit the big capitals of Europe, but it is actually nicer to visit some new destinations that are not so well-known. Having said that, Cologne was spectacular, and so was Strasbourg. The vessel was very well-appointed, and the food was five-star, with plenty of variety and a real emphasis on local menus to reflect the different locations. The cabins are beyond comfy; all in all, a great trip.”

Cruise passengers are always free to explore on their own; all the planned tours are optional. Our expert guides are happy to share their knowledge and provide passengers with information to help them plan their own itineraries. Just make sure you are back at the port before the ship sails!

Do I need visas for this cruise?

The Captivating Rhine Cruise travels through four European countries, and passengers must arrange their own visas before boarding the vessel in Amsterdam. Our expert booking team can give you some general advice and information when you make your reservation. Just ensure you allow enough time for your visas to come through, as delays can occur during the holiday season.
