Portraits of Eastern Europe Cruise Review

“Everything was well organised and ran smoothly. The day trips were really interesting and offered a variety of things to see and do. The concert in Vienna was a special treat. The guides on the tour buses were friendly and informative, and even the drivers made a positive contribution to the experience.”

Portraits of Eastern Europe FAQ

Where will the ship dock?

Uniworld ships generally dock within easy walking distance of the town or city you are visiting. Docking is prescribed by the local harbour authorities, so Uniworld cannot choose the exact location.

Is there a laundry service available on board the ship?

Most of Uniworld’s vessels offer a self-service guest laundry with an ironing board or an in-suite laundry service for an extra charge. Our website has detailed listings for each ship so you can see the services available.

Can I smoke on board the River Duchess?

Smoking is allowed on the ship’s Sun Deck but nowhere else on the River Duchess; this includes other public areas, suites, and staterooms. The smoking ban includes e-cigarettes and vape devices as well as tobacco products. Smoking is also banned on coach tours and in many port destinations and tourist attractions.
