Buda and Pest form a unique city on opposite sides of the Danube. Learn about Budapest’s fascinating post-war 20th-century history at the Retro Interactive Museum. In the evening, enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Reception and Dinner.

Mohacs, Batina & Vukovar, Croatia
Explore Croatia and learn about traditional Croatian craftsmanship in rural Karanac. From there, visit the Vučedol Museum, a unique archaeological location that uncovers layers of history. Later, visit Vukovar and learn about the famous siege.

Vidin, Bulgaria
Discover the medieval Bulgarian port of Vidin, a centuries-old strategic location. Guests can visit the Dos Alamos Winery, a boutique estate in Negovanovtsi, or travel to Belogradchik, with its astonishing rock formations formed by the wind and weather.

Ruse, Bulgaria
Bulgaria’s most prominent Danube port, Ruse, is known as ‘Little Vienna’ due to its elegant architecture. Choose a walking tour of the city that includes the woods of Rusenski Lom on the way to Ivanovo Rock Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Giurgiu, Romania
Disembark in Giurgiu and drive to Bucharest, where guests enjoy a panoramic city tour and view the city’s extravagant 19th-century buildings, including the magnificent People’s Palace inspired by Socialist Realism, Modernism, and Neoclassical architecture.

Where will the ship dock?
Uniworld ships are designed to be small enough to dock in many different ports without compromising the quality of on-board accommodation. In most cases, your vessel will dock within easy walking distance of the city or town centre. The local harbour authorities determine where we can dock. If we have to dock further away because of river conditions or busy traffic in the port, then a motorcoach transfer is provided from the ship to your destination.
Is there a laundry service available on board the ship?
Most of Uniworld’s vessels have either a self-service laundrette with an ironing board or a laundry service from your suite for an additional charge. Our website has detailed listings for each ship so you can see the services available.
Can I smoke on board the ship?
Smoking is allowed on the ship’s Sun Deck but not in other public areas or the cabins, suites, and staterooms. The smoking prohibition includes tobacco, e-cigarettes, and vape devices. Smoking is also banned on motorcoaches for ship-to-destination transfers and port tours.
