This 7-night Seine River Cruise spirits you away to some of the most fascinating and enamouring locations in France. Explore Paris and its many aesthetic facets, admire monuments and sites of great historic importance, immerse yourself in one of the most famous cultures in the world with your Avalon Waterways Cruise.
*Day 2’s tour of Monet’s House will be replaced with a Guided Tour of La Roche-Guyon and its castle due to Monet’s House being closed in March and November.
*Day 6’s tour of Château de Malmaison will be replaced with a visit to Château de Chantilly due to Château de Malmaison being closed the 1st Monday of each month and on 22nd September.

Before boarding your ship, use your free time to explore Paris.
Day 2
Vernon / Les Andelys
Explore the Château des Tourelles on a walking tour. Or, go on a guided tour of Giverny, where you’ll see the residence of Monet. Alternatively, visit Bizy Castle.
Once in Les Andelys, hike up to Château Gaillard. Or, join a guided walking tour of Les Andelys.
Day 3
Caudebec
Go on a bike ride along the Seine. Or, go on a guided trip along the Normandy Abbeys Route.
This afternoon, enjoy an optional guided excursion to the old seaside town of Honfleur.
Day 4
Caudebec
Join a guided tour of Normandy’s WWII landing beaches and other significant sites. Or, join a guided tour of the British and Canadian commemorative sites. Alternatively, join the “A Taste of Normandy” guided tour. Later, enjoy live entertainment aboard your ship.

Rouen
Go on a guided bike tour of Rouen. Or, join a guided walking tour of Rouen.
Day 6

Join a guided bike ride along the Seine. Or, join a guided visit to Auvers-sur-Oise. Alternatively, take a guided tour of the Château de Malmaison. Join a guided optional excursion to the Palace of Versailles.
