“My wife and I have sailed the Seine a dozen times and we were just expecting another run-of-the-mill trip to be honest, but from the minute we stepped onto the ship we knew this trip was going to be very different. For starters there was a much wider selection of activities available on the itinerary than we’d ever seen from our other cruise providers and we booked our days full with as many excursions as possible. We had a wonderful time going on hikes and bike rides and visiting places you typically only hear about on TV. We both loved the visit to Monet’s old residence and we must have spent a good couple of hours just taking pictures and finding really scenic spots to photograph and admire. I also really enjoyed the visit to Omaha Beach, it was rather solemn but very interesting. We’ll absolutely be booking with AmaWaterways from now on.”
