Day 1
Paris (EMBARK)
Welcome to Paris, the City of Lights. Upon arrival, transfer onto your luxury ship, the Scenic Gem.
Day 2
Les Andelys
Hike to the Château Gaillard with ‘Richard the Lionheart’ to step back into the age of Robin Hood on a medieval themed walking tour. Alternatively, enjoy an excursion cycling in Les Andelys or a trip to Lyons la Forêt.
Day 3
Rouen
Stroll through Rouen on a leisurely city tour. Alternatively, opt for an unforgettable guided tour with Rollo the Viking – who will explore the city with you, focusing on its medieval past.
Day 4
Rouen
Join an excursion to the Somme Battlefields (including Newfoundland Memorial Park) and visit the Lochnagar Crater, created by a large mine placed beneath German front lines. After lunch you’ll be transferred to Caterpillar Valley Cemetery. Alternatively, enjoy a walking tour from the ship to Rouen’s Fine Art Museum.

Are there different options when touring the Normandy Beaches?
Yes. You can choose between US, UK and Canada-focused versions of the tour, or circumvent it altogether on a guided tour in Bayeux.
