Day 1
Arles (EMBARK)
Arrive into France – your suite ship is ready for boarding.
Day 2
Arles
Power walk through Arles alongside your Adventure Host, attend a painting workshop on the techniques of Vincent Van Gogh or enjoy a guided walking tour of this captivating city.
Day 3
Avignon
Today, you’ll take a guided sightseeing tour of this fortress city. You may also wish to embark on an optional excursion either to Pont du Gard or the wine cellars of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Day 4
Viviers
Walk your way up to Vivers’ hilltop cathedral with your Adventure Host or enjoy a guided walking tour of this charming village.
Day 5
Chalon-Sur-Saône / Beaune / Basel (Transfer ship)
Touch down in Beaune to visit the Hôtel-Dieu Charity Hospital.
This afternoon, travel via motorcoach to Basel in order to board your Rhine River Cruise.
Day 6
Breisach (excursion to Black Forest)
Bike down the Rhine with your Adventure Host, join a full-day guided tour to the Black Forest – including a local winery for tastings, or embark on a guided tour to Freiburg’s medieval city centre. You may also choose a morning optional guided excursion to Colmar.
Day 7
Strasbourg
Discover Strasbourg by bike with your Adventure Host, join a city sightseeing tour or opt into a guided excursion to Maginot Line.
Day 8
Mainz (excursion to Heidelberg)
Join your Adventure Host for a walk through Heidelberg, enjoy a guided tour to Heidelberg Castle or embark on a guided city walk – including a visit to Gutenberg Museum.
Day 9
Rudesheim / Rhine Gorge / Koblenz
Hike with your Adventure Host through the vineyards of Rudesheim or take a guided tour of the Mechanical Music Museum.
En route to Koblenz, enjoy scenic sailing through the UNESCO-designated Rhine Gorge.
Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace.
Day 10
Cologne
Bike through Cologne with your Adventure Host, embark on a guided walking tour of important Jewish heritage sites or take a guided city walk of Cologne – featuring its gothic cathedral.
Day 11
Amsterdam
Join your Adventure Host on an early morning walk, explore the waterways of Amsterdam on a guided canal cruise.
During tulip season, you may take a Guided Optional Excursion to Keukenhof gardens, Outside of tulip season, join a Guided Optional Excursion to Zaanse Schans.
Day 12
Amsterdam (DISEMBARK)
Your cruise ends after breakfast this morning.
