From Arles to Lyon, this itinerary conducts you North through France on the adventure of a lifetime. From kayaking and hiking, to wine tastings and painting workshops – there’s sure to be something for everyone on this trip.
Day 1
Arles (EMBARK)
Arrive to France to begin your river cruise.
Day 2
Port-Saint-Louis
Bike through Camargue Natural Park, visit an oyster farm on the Camargue National Park guided tour or pay a visit to a traditional black bull ranch.
Day 3
Arles
Spend your morning exploring on a guided hike, attend a painting workshop on the techniques of Vincent Van Gogh or join a guided sightseeing tour of Arles.
Your afternoon is free to explore as you please.
Day 4
Avignon
Join an E-Bike ride through Gard region, visit an authentic Provencal farmhouse or enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Avignon.
You may also choose from optional excursions to either the wine cellars of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for a wine tasting or a kayak ride through Pont du Gard.
Day 5
Viviers
Enjoy a guided kayak trip in Gorges de l’Ardèche, hike through the Natural Reserve of Cirque d’Estre or take part in an underground wine tasting. You’ll also join us on a nighttime guided tour of Viviers.
Day 6
Tournon / Tain l’Hermitage
Join a guided excursion by rail-bike along the descent of the Gorges du Doux, hike though vineyards, tour the Valrhona Chocolate Factory Museum or take a guided sightseeing tour of Tournon. Back on board, enjoy a cooking demonstration on how to prepare a Lyonnaise treat.
Day 7
Lyon
Enjoy guided urban hiking through Lyon’s secret passageways or embark on a guided culinary walk.
This afternoon, you may wish to embark on an optional guided tour through private and public terraces for panoramic views of Lyon.
Day 8
Lyon (DISEMBARK)
Disembark from your ship after breakfast this morning and begin your journey home.
