Breisach, Germany
Located across the river from French Alsace and a gateway to the Black Forest region, Breisach is home to Europe’s largest wine cellars. Stroll the historic streets and visit the most prominent landmark, the Romanesque-Gothic St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
Day 3
Strasbourg, France
The centre of France’s Alsace region, Strasbourg, has a fascinating Old Town criss-crossed with canals and cobblestone streets with timber houses. Guests also have the option of a tour along the Alsatian Wine Route and a visit to a winery with tasting.

Speyer & Rüdesheim, Germany
Explore historic Speyer with its magnificent Romanesque imperial cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards, head to medieval Rüdesheim, famous for its wine making and 9th-century Brömserburg Castle, the oldest on the Rhine.

Koblenz, Germany
Sail the Middle Rhine and the spectacular Rhine Gorge, a cruise highlight, before arriving in Koblenz, a traditional German city. Stroll around the Old Town or visit the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, a citadel with a fascinating history and fabulous views.

Cologne, Germany
Cologne has Roman origins and plenty of ruins throughout the city. It is perhaps most famous for its striking 14th-century cathedral with its iconic twin towers, a survivor of World War II. Make it to the top for spectacular views.
Day 7
Kinderdijk, The Netherlands
Watch the landscapes change from Rhineland scenery to the classic flat vistas of windmills and flower fields in The Netherlands. Kinderdijk is famous for its beautifully preserved 19th-century windmills. Tour a working mill occupied by local families.
Day 8
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Disembark your river cruiser and discover Amsterdam on board one of its famous glass-topped canal boats and explore the patchwork of waterways, islands, and bridges with a local guide. Afterwards, visit a historic diamond-cutting factory.

The North Sea

Stavanger, Norway
Stavanger on the southwest coast has a beautifully preserved Old Town with cobblestone streets and wooden buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, some of the best preserved in Northern Europe. Visit the Norwegian Petroleum Museum.

Flåm, Norway
The charming village of Flåm is renowned for its scenic location, surrounded by mountains, glacial lakes, and glorious waterfalls. Board the Flåm Railway for one of Europe’s most spectacular train rides with stops at Kjosfossen and Vatnahalsen.

Bergen, Norway
