Imbibe some Parisian culture on a day in this cosmopolitan city. Stroll boulevards with beautifully preserved historic architecture and buildings. Visit the Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, or the Louvre, and people watch in a pavement café.

Reims, France – Trier, Germany

Check out of your Paris hotel and journey to Reims in the iconic Champagne region, home to a magnificent cathedral. From Reims, travel to Trier, a German university city with a rich history and where your luxury cruise ship awaits.

Day 4

Trier & Bernkastel, Germany

Explore the historic heart of Trier, the vibrant Haputmarkt, with medieval origins and many different architectural styles resulting from its trading past. Then, arrive in Bernkastel, the ‘Pearl of the Moselle,’ an ancient and picturesque riverside town.

Cochem, Germany

In a hilltop location above the Moselle sits Cochem with its distinctive 1,000-year-old imperial castle and a cosmopolitan Old Quarter fringed with timber-framed houses and a baroque Town Hall. Taste ‘green’ or young wine in one of the many taverns.

Located amongst stunning Franconian vineyards, Würzburg’s post-war restoration is invisible as the city has been completely restored. Tour the beautiful baroque architecture, including the Bishops’ Residenz and the Marienberg Fortress, a Celtic fort.

Bamberg, Germany

Cruise the historic Main River, passing pastoral landscapes, quaint villages, and the mythical Spessart woodlands, the inspiration for the famous folklore writers, the Brothers Grimm. Later, take a walking tour of medieval Bamburg.

Take a virtual tour of your Viking Longship, available on our website, and see the staterooms and public spaces. There are also deck plans, stateroom layouts and precise specifications for each ship in the Viking fleet in the Ships section on our website.

Can I make payments towards my final balance in My Viking Journey?

You can make part payments towards your balance on the Booking Payments page in My Viking Journey Payments & Cart section.
