Fly from London Heathrow to Cairo where you will meet your Tour Director at the airport and transfer to the Marriott Cairo Hotel for three nights.
Day 2
Cairo
Explore Giza, including the three pyramids and the iconic Great Sphinx on the Giza Plateau, before strolling through the lush gardens of Al Azhar Park and lunching in Cairo. Later choose to tour Coptic Cairo or dine at an authentic local restaurant.
Day 3
Cairo
Explore Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital, and Sakkara, the country’s richest archaeological site, home to the oldest pyramids. Later, join a tour of Cairo city and visit the Grand Egyptian Museum containing genuine Tutankhamun treasures.
Day 4
Cairo, Luxor, Embark River Ship
Fly from Cairo to Luxor and join your luxury private charter, the MS Moon Goddess. Discover Karnak Temple, the largest religious building in the world, and Luxor Temple. There is a captivating performance of traditional belly dancing before dinner.
Day 5
Luxor, Edfu
Today, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two giant twin statues, before viewing the West Bank of the Nile. Journey to the Valley of the Kings and Queens with the mortuary temple, the ‘Gateway to the Afterlife.’ Tonight is the Captain’s Welcome Reception.
Day 6
Edfu, Aswan
Visit the fabled Edfu Temple on the banks of the Nile before cruising to Kom Ombo, where, after lunch, you’ll visit the temple with a dedication to the crocodile god. Tonight, attend a Galabeya party with authentic music, costumes, and cuisine.
Day 7
Aswan, Abu Simbel
Fly to Abu Simbel and visit the temples of Abu Simbel, discovered in 1813, before sailing on a traditional felucca past the beautiful Kitchener’s Island, a botanical haven. A Nubian folkloric show, popular Egyptian entertainment, follows dinner.
Day 8
Aswan, Disembark Ship, Fly to Cairo
Before you say goodbye to the MS Moon Goddess, cruise the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam with the 2000-year-old Philae Temple. Visit the Aswan High Dam, Egypt’s largest dam, before leaving the river and flying back to Cairo.
Day 9
Cairo, Amman
After breakfast, fly from Cairo to Amman and transfer to the Intercontinental Hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Reception and meet the Jordanian Tour Director.
Day 10
Amman, Jerash, Dead Sea
Explore Amman on a guided tour including the Roman Theatre, Nymphaeum, and the magnificent Citadel. Stroll around a traditional souk before driving to the ruined city of Jerash. Later, check into your hotel, the Crowne Plaza, on the Dead Sea.
Day 11
Dead Sea, Bethabara, Aqaba
Spend leisurely time on the shores of the Dead Sea before travelling to Bethabara, the site of the baptism of Jesus Christ. In the afternoon, visit Aqaba, a picturesque town on the Red Sea and Jordan’s only port city on the short stretch of coastline.

Aqaba, Wadi Rum
Take a glass-bottom boat tour or enjoy a dip in the Red Sea. In the afternoon, travel to Wadi Rum, where a unique insider experience includes a 4WD through the desert landscape. In the evening, enjoy a memorable Bedouin dinner at a desert camp.
Day 13
Wadi Rum, Petra
Before arriving at your hotel, take a short drive to Little Petra, a famous archaeological site with magnificent carved sandstone buildings. Tonight, enjoy a hands-on dining experience at Petra Kitchen.
