London to Amman

Explore Amman on a guided tour and discover the historic Roman Theatre, the Nymphaeum, and the magnificent Citadel. Visit a traditional souk before driving to the ruined city of Jerash. Later, guests travel to the Dead Sea and check into their hotel.
Day 3
Dead Sea, Bethabara, Aqaba

Discover Petra, the Rose City, half-carved and half-built. This UNESCO World Heritage site is the most popular tourist location in Jordan. Visit Petra’s most remarkable ruin, Al Khazneh and the Ad-Deir Monastery, worth the 900-step climb.
Day 7
Petra, Shobak, Madaba, Nebo, Amman
Visit the historic crusader castle at Shobak, with carved inscriptions dating from the 14th century. From there, travel to Madaba, famous for its mosaics before visiting Mount Nebo, with fantastic views of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
Day 8
Amman, Cairo
Fly from Amman to Cairo and transfer to the Cairo Marriott Hotel for three nights.

Cairo
Explore Giza with its three famous pyramids and the Giant Sphinx before a stroll through the lush gardens of Al Azhar Park and lunch in Cairo. In the afternoon, pick a select experience including more views of Cairo or traditional Egyptian dining.

Cairo, Luxor, Embark Ship
Transfer to the airport and fly from Cairo to Luxor, where guests board the MS Moon Goddess, a luxury cruise ship moored on the Nile. Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples before enjoying a traditional belly dancing display before dinner.
Day 12
Luxor, Edfu
Tour the giant twin statues, Colossi of Memnon, on the West Bank of the Nile and then journey to the Valley of the Kings and Queens, a burial ground for Egyptian royalty. Enjoy afternoon tea before the Captain’s Welcome Reception in the evening.
Day 13
Edfu, Aswan
Edfu Temple on the banks of the Nile is steeped in historic myths and fables. After a visit, cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god. In the evening, enjoy a Galabeya party with traditional music and food.
Day 14
Aswan, Abu Simbel
Fly to Abu Simbel and visit two magnificent temples discovered in 1813. Later, step aboard a felucca, a traditional boat, and sail past Kitchener’s Island with its fabulous botanical gardens. Enjoy a Nubian folklore show after dinner in the evening.
Day 15
Aswan, Disembark Ship, Cairo
Disembark the MS Moon Goddess in Aswan and enjoy a cruise down the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam with its ancient Philae Temple before visiting the Aswan High Dam, a feat of modern engineering. Later on, board a flight back to Cairo.

Depart Cairo for London
