Another twin town, Traben-Trarbach, straddles the Moselle River and is famously the capital of this wine region. Enjoy touring the underground cellar vaults and the many art nouveau buildings, plus there is a wine tasting on board ship in the evening.
Scenic Cochem sits beside the Moselle River, overlooked by the neo-Gothic Reichsburg Castle perched high above the town. The town offers a maze of quaint streets ripe for exploration, a Baroque Town Hall, and a pretty market square.
Sail the magnificent Rhine Gorge, a famous part of this river journey, before arriving in Boppard. This classic Rhineland town has extensive Roman remains and pretty half-timbered buildings and is overlooked by wooded gorges and vineyards.

Our vessels don’t have a resident doctor on board but there is always at least one trained first aider. If you are bringing medication with you, it can help to write down what you are taking and the dosage and keep it in an accessible location in the unfortunate event that you are taken ill during your holiday.
Our port excursions vary in terms of location and walking effort, so if an excursion is classified as a Walking Grade 4 or higher, there will always be a Gentle Walker alternative. Gentle Walker groups follow a different itinerary and visit other attractions and landmarks, usually avoiding steep inclines, descents, and lots of steps. They also feature more solo exploration time, so some guests choose them if they want more freedom to explore independently.
The balance payment for your holiday is due no later than 90 days before your cruise date. You can pay online by clicking on ‘Manage My Booking’ or call our friendly booking team and make a card payment over the phone. You can use a different card from the one you used for the deposit. We don’t retain card details, so if you want to use the same card, you must still either pay online or call our booking team; we won’t take the payment automatically.
Our mission at crui.se is to help you and your loved one’s book and experience the best cruise holiday imaginable. We’re different in that, our customers come first, not our suppliers or profit margins. Get in touch and let us help you set sail.
