Contrasts of the Rhine, Main and Moselle: Schweich to Frankfurt Cruise Review

“This was our first European cruise that involved the Main and Moselle rivers, which were new to us. It was great to re-visit some old haunts on the Rhine, but this voyage offers port stops at different destinations, including smaller towns, giving you an authentic feel of Old Germany. The ship was stunning, and the food was amazing, with menus reflecting local dishes and wines, the perfect mirror to the sailing location. Even if you’re a veteran cruiser of Europe’s main rivers, this holiday has plenty of surprises.”

Contrasts of the Rhine, Main and Moselle: Schweich to Frankfurt FAQ

Is there a Doctor on board the ship?

Our vessels don’t have a resident doctor on board but there is always at least one trained first aider. If you are bringing medication with you, it can help to write down what you are taking and the dosage and keep it in an accessible location in the unfortunate event that you are taken ill during your holiday.

What are Gentle Walker Groups?

Our port excursions vary in terms of location and walking effort, so if an excursion is classified as a Walking Grade 4 or higher, there will always be a Gentle Walker alternative. Gentle Walker groups follow a different itinerary and visit other attractions and landmarks, usually avoiding steep inclines, descents, and lots of steps. They also feature more solo exploration time, so some guests choose them if they want more freedom to explore independently.

When is the balance payment due for my cruise?

The balance payment for your holiday is due no later than 90 days before your cruise date. You can pay online by clicking on ‘Manage My Booking’ or call our friendly booking team and make a card payment over the phone. You can use a different card from the one you used for the deposit. We don’t retain card details, so if you want to use the same card, you must still either pay online or call our booking team; we won’t take the payment automatically.
