Day 3
Reims / Trier (EMBARK)
After breakfast, journey to your embarkation city.
In Reims, enjoy the opportunity to explore its stunning UNESCO-designated cathedral and visit the Luxembourg American Cemetery.
Later, in Trier, spend the afternoon settling into your stateroom.
Day 4
Trier / Bernkastel
Explore Trier’s highlights and expansive Christmas Markets on today’s excursion. After, we continue to Bernkastel, where you’ll enjoy the opportunity to sample local wines.

Cochem / Winningen
Embark on a walking tour of Cochem to view its coveted Reichsburg Castle and Christmas Market. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a celebration with music and wine.

Koblenz / Middle Rhine (scenic sailing)
Enjoy a festive stroll around Koblenz to learn about its history, visit the iconic Christmas Market and potentially pay a visit to the medieval Marksburg Castle.
Later, relax during a scenic sailing through Middle Rhine.
Day 7
Mainz
Today, take a tour of Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum. You may also wish to discover the Jewish Mainz – famed for its Chagall stained-glass windows, pay a visit to one of Germany’s oldest winemakers for a tasting or step behind the scenes of Opel – a car manufacturer.
Day 8
Mannheim / Speyer
This morning, discover the history and culture of Mannheim on a guided excursion with free time to explore the Yuletide Market. Later, you may opt to explore Heidelberg and Worms and visit their festive Christmas Markets.
Day 9
Strasbourg
Spend today exploring the Festive Markets. You may also wish to embark on an excursion to Alsace to view Europe’s oldest market or enjoy a wine tasting.
Day 10
Basel / Zürich (DISEMBARK)
In Basel, explore festive highlights – including the Christmas Markets – on foot and by motorcoach. Alternatively, you can opt to spend a day immersed in the culture of alpine Switzerland.
Day 11
Zürich (hotel)
Start your day with a walking tour and lake cruise. Later, you may choose to join a Lindt Exclusive Chocolate Workshop in Kilchberg.
