Day 1
London (DEPARTURE)
Fly from London Heathrow to Vietnam.
Day 2
Hanoi
Upon arrival, transfer to the Movenpick Hotel and enjoy a specially prepared Welcome Dinner.
Day 3
Hanoi
Spend your day on a guided tour featuring the French-colonial Ba Dinh Square and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Day 4
Hanoi / Ha Long Bay (EMBARK*)
Arrive to this UNESCO-designated location to begin your cruising adventure through the Trinh Nu Cave.
Day 5
Ha Long Bay
Practice Tai-Chi, kayak or simply relax whilst taking in the stunning waters of Ba Ham Lake. After lunch, continue to Cua Van Floating Culture Centre for some sightseeing.
Day 6
Hoi An (DISEMBARK*)
Explore the rock formations of Sung Sot Cave before docking back at Ha Long. Transfer to Hanoi for your included flight to Da Nang, followed by a transfer to Hoi An.
Day 7
Hoi An
Enjoy a guided tour of Hoi An’s market. Back on board, try your hand at preparing a selection of dishes and sample the results during lunch.
Day 8
Hoi An
Explore at your leisure.
Day 9
Hoi An / Hue
Take in the sights at La Co Beach before embarking down the 13-mile Hai Van Pass. Arrive in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Pay a visit to the walled fortress and palace of the imperial city.
Day 10
Hue / Ho Chi Minh City
Board your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, spend the day at your leisure, converging for a delicious Vietnamese dinner in the evening.
Day 11
Cu Chi Tunnels / Ho Chi Minh City
Spend today exploring the historically significant Cu Chi Tunnels.
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh City / My Tho (EMBARK)
After a drive to My Tho Port, board the RV Aspara, your home for the next seven nights of your journey.
Day 13
Cai Be / Sa Dec
Board a local boat journeying to Cai Be. View its French Gothic Cathedral and pay a visit to a local rice paper manufacturer. After, we cruise to Sa Dec, where you’ll see the house of Huynh Thuy Le and a colourful Temple.
Day 14
Tan Chau (BORDER CROSSING)
Journey via small boat along the tiny tributaries surrounding Tan Chau. Ashore, enjoy a rickshaw tour and visit a local island. Spend the remainder of your day on board as the ship cruises towards the Cambodian Border.
Day 15
Phnom Penh
Join an excursion to the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace and view the Silver Pagoda during exploration of the Royal Palace Complex.
Day 16
Oudong / Koh Chen
Our Insider Experience today affords you the chance to take part in a traditional Buddist blessing in Oudong. Afterwards, explore Koh Chen on foot, visiting some small family workshops.
Day 17
Okna Tey
Today you’ll tour the village of ‘Silk Island’ and observe traditional silk weaving in practice.
Day 18
Angkor Ban / Koh Pen
Enjoy a walking tour of this village, one of the few preserved after the Khmer Rouge. You’ll see traditional buildings and local life. This afternoon, your ship docks in Kampong Cham for your Insider Experience – a tuk tuk ride around Koh Pen island.
Day 19
Kampong Cham / Siem Reap / Angkor (DISEMBARK)
Disembark your ship and transfer to Siem Reap. You’ll have the opportunity to explore Ta Prohm.
Day 20
Angkor / Siem Reap
After a morning at leisure, visit the ancient Bayon Temple. Enjoy a sunset at Angkor Wat before a delicious farewell dinner.
Day 21
Siem Reap (DEPARTURE)
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
Day 22
London
Arrive back in London.
