London (DEPARTURE)
Depart from London Heathrow on your flight to Cambodia.
Day 2
Siem Reap (ARRIVAL)
Transfer to your luxurious hotel in the heart of the city – enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Tonight, choose from a selection of local restaurants for dinner.
Day 3
Siem Reap
Begin your day at the UNESCO-designated Angkor Archaeological Park – pay visits to Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, the Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and Ta Prohm (AKA Tomb Raider Temple). Your Signature Experience* is a visit to the ODA – Opportunities of Development Through Art.
Day 4
Siem Reap
Watch the sunrise from Angkor Archaeological Park’s Angkor Wat*, tour the well-preserved temple, treat yourself to a private visit to Theam’s Gallery* and choose between a tuk tuk ride to a Senteurs d’Angkor workshop, quad bike adventure, leisurely countryside bike tour, horse and cart ride or cooking class.
Day 5
Siem Reap / Kampong Cham / Koh Pen / Angkor Ban (EMBARK)
Journey to Kampong Cham to embark the Mekong Serenity. Following lunch, discover the island of Koh Pen via tuk tuk*.
Day 6
Angkor Ban / Koh Oknha Tey / Phnom Penh
Take a walking tour of Angkor Ban. Later, explore Koh Oknha Tey to gain insight into the traditional silk weaving process.
Day 7
Phnom Penh
Dip your toe into history during an excursion to the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum or discover Phnom Penh via cyclo ride. Admire the National Museum, Royal Palace (with Silver Pagoda) or sample some local brews at two of the city’s craft breweries.
Day 8
Phnom Penh / Oudong / Koh Chen
In Oudong, be treated to a Buddhist Blessing performed by monks at a local monastery*. Take a leisurely stroll through Koh Chen and visit some home workshops that make copperware.
Day 9
Phnom Penh / Tan Chau (BORDER CROSSING)
Enjoy a day cruising across the Vietnamese border. Take part in our onboard presentations, fruit-carving demonstrations, cooking workshops and much more.
Day 10
Tan Chau / Evergreen Island / Sa Dec
Journey along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau via small boat. Glide past a floating fish farm, small shops and friendly locals. Pay a visit to a local rattan silk and rattan weaving workshop. Later, visit Evergreen Island.
Day 11
Sa Dec / Cai Be / My Tho
Journey via tender boat to Sa Dec, tour the former home off Huynh Thuy Le and visit a traditional Cao Dai temple. Travel to the French Gothic Cathedral, colourful port area and a rice paper manufacturer.
Day 12
My Tho / Ho Chi Minh City (DISEMBARK)
Choose between a leisurely walking discovery of the city, motorbike city ride, Tai Chi class or fun cooking class.
Day 13
Ho Chi Minh City
Journey by speedboat to the Cu Chi Tunnels*, meet a Master Distiller at Lady Trieu Gin Distillery* and savour dinner at the highly acclaimed Vietnam House restaurant*.
Day 14
Ho Chi Minh City (DEPARTURE)
After breakfast, transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight back to the UK.
Day 15
London (ARRIVAL)
Arrive back in London.
