After lunch, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and one of the Killing Fields or visit the lively Central Market by tuk tuk.
Join a guided tour of the city by private cyclo with visits to the Royal Palace with its spectacular SIlver Pagoda, and National Museum featuring an outside display of Khmer artifacts.
Just before dinner, children from a local orphanage will perform a show featuring a local song and dance.
Take a village walk through the Chau Doc market. After lunch, embark on a guided excursion down the backwaters of Mekong, seeing traditional floating homes, speedboat merchants, religious sites and more.
This morning, travel by sampan to the village of Long Khanh A, for a cotton-weaving demonstration. Later this afternoon, enjoy scenes of daily life on Cu Lao Gieng Island, via sampan or local motor cart on a guided excursion to one of Vietnam’s oldest churches, the home of a local family that makes vietnamese conical hats and a local workshop where sampan boats are hand-crafted.
Board a sampan this morning on the way to local workshop in Vinh Long to see how rice paper, rice wine and traditional candies are made.
Enjoy a walking tour of Ho Chi Minh City’s landmarks, including a stop at the Rex hotel’s rooftop bar and the War Remnants Museum and bustling Ben Thanh Market. For lunch, participate in a hands-on Vietnamese Cooking Class.
Today, drive away from the city for a guided visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Transfer to the airport and fly to Hanoi before arriving to your hotel for the night.
Join a guided visit of the Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Presidential Palace, the infamous “Hanoi Hilton”, and the Temple of Literature. Enjoy lunch at Koto, a non-profit restaurant and hospitality program for local children. Afterwards, enjoy an electric cart ride through the Old Quarter and a Live Performance of Hanoi’s renowned water puppets.
Board the luxurious Paradise Elegance for a 2-night cruise across this UNESCO-designated site. Pay a visit to the Cua Van Floating Village by bamboo raft or enjoy a kayak ride visit to Cua Van Village.
Visit Ti Top island for a swim or 400ft climb to the top of the island. Alternatively explore Luon Cave and Dark & Bright Cave by boat and bamboo raft respectively. Or take the more active route for that same tour and explore via kayak.
Pay a visit to Sung Sot Cave. Afterwards return to Hanoi and check into your hotel for the night.
Your adventure ends after breakfast this morning, make your way to the airport to begin your journey home.
