Travel by boat, cyclo, sampan, tuk tuk and the speed of your own two feet down the Mekong. Explore two countries over the course of eight days on this impressive journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh.
Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City (EMBARK)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh city and embark your ship on the Saigon River for embarkation.
Day 2
Vinh Long / Cu Lao Gieng
This morning, board a sampan to visit a local workshop in Vinh Long. After, travel to Cu Lao Gieng Island for a guided excursion.
Day 3
Chau Doc / Long Khanh A / Border Crossing / Cambodia
In Chau Doc, enjoy a guided walk through the local market. Then, embark on a river excursion down the back waterways of the Mekong. After lunch, a sampan will bring you to the village of Long Khanh A for a cotton-weaving demonstration.
Day 4
Phnom Penh
Enjoy a city tour via private cyclo and visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum.
Day 5
Phnom Penh
Today’s adventures will bring you to either the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and one of the Killing Fields or the lively Central Market by tuk-tuk.
Day 6
Wat Hanchey / Angkor Ban
Pay a visit to Wat Hanchey and partake in a traditional water blessing performed by local monks.
Day 7
Konpong Louang / Kampong Tralach
Enjoy guided sightseeing at the silversmith village in Konpong Louang. After, continue on to Kampong Tralach for an ox cart ride through the countryside and visit to a local farmer.
Day 8
Phnom Penh (DISEMBARK)
After breakfast, disembark from your ship and begin your journey home.
