Today, embark on a guided canal cruise past the stately homes of Amsterdam’s ‘Golden Age’.
Day 3
Cologne
Join a bike ride alongside your Adventure Host, join a guided walking tour of important Jewish heritage sites or take a guided city walk to the Old City.
Day 4
Rhine Gorge / Rudesheim
Take an open-air cable car ride to Niederwald Monument – ride or walk back through the vineyard and tour the Mechanical Music Museum.

Today, you’ll embark on a guided walking tour of Miltenberg.

Wurzburg
Embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Wurzburg with its Old Main Bridge, towering fortress and baroque Bishop’s Residenz.

Volkach
Bike along the Main-Danube canal with your Adventure Host or join a walking tour of Volkach.
Day 8
Bamberg
Bike along the canals in Bamberg with your Adventure Host or take a guided walking tour.
Day 9
Roth (excursion to Nuremberg)
Explore Roth’s Lauter valley with your Adventure Host, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the Bavarian town Roth or choose to embark on a guided tour of Nuremberg’s medieval architecture.
Day 10
Regensburg
Explore by bike with your Adventure Host or join a guided city walk to see the Altes Rathaus and Porta Pretoria.
Day 11
Passau / Linz
Today, you’ll enjoy a guided city walk.
Day 12
Melk / Wachau Valley / Vienna
Join your Adventure Host for a walk down the Danube and around Melk or take a guided tour of Melk’s Benedictine Abbey.
This afternoon, sail through the picturesque Wachau Valley.
Day 13
Vienna
Explore via bike with your Adventure Host or explore the Habsburg Empire with a morning guided city tour. Opt to join a guided optional excursion to Bratislava and Vienna’s Prater amusement park.
Day 14
Budapest
Hike up to a viewpoint over Budapest with your Adventure Host or enjoy a guided city sightseeing tour of Budapest.
Day 15
Budapest
Today, you’ll enjoy some free time to explore on your own terms.

Vukovar / Ilok
Join a guided walking tour with beer tasting through Vukovar or join a city tour to learn about the city’s rich history.
Day 17
Novi Sad
Embark on a guided hike tour, learn more about the beekeeper profession or join a guided tour of Novi Sad.
Day 18
Belgrade
Discover Belgrade’s central walkway with your Adventure Host, join a guided sightseeing tour of Belgrade or attend an on-board lecture about the Balkan States.
Day 19
Golubac / Donji Milanovac (excursion to Lepenski Vir)
Today, visit the fortress of Golubac or join a guided tour to the Mesolithic archaeological site of Lepenski Vir.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a spectacular sailing through the Ironic Gates Gorge.
Day 20
Vidin
Join your Adventure Host on a bike tour around the city, embark on a sightseeing tour of the Baba Vida Fortress or explore the rich history of Bulgarian winemaking with a tour and tasting at a local winery.

Rousse (excursion to Veliko Tarnovo & Arbanassi)
