“I feel as though the Magdalena River doesn’t get nearly as much credit as it deserves compared to the more popular rivers so I’m hoping that me relating my experience can help change that. First of all the Magdalena is easily one of the most beautiful rivers I’ve ever had the privilege of sailing. The views of the hills are green and stunning and make the river feel alive just as the towns and villages along its neck do. I must confess that I couldn’t get enough of the musical and scenic aspects of this cruise; the Cumbia and jazz performances are nothing short of amazing and the walking tours provided for all the different towns give an in-depth look into local life and culture. I have been impressed time and time again by both this cruise and its facilities and I will most definitely be bringing my friends with me on the next one.”
