Travel through Germany, Austria and Hungary on this 8-day itinerary down the Danube River. From palaces to UNESCO World Heritage sites, there’s something from everyone’s bucket list on this adventure.
Day 1
Nuremberg (EMBARK)
Welcome to Germany – explore your ship and enjoy dinner on board.
Day 2
Nuremberg
Start your bike ride with a bike ride along the port area, embark on a guided tour of Nuremberg, tour the Rally Grounds or remain on-board for a lecture discussing the Main-Danube canal.
Day 3
Regensburg
Today, you’ll join a guided city walk to Altes Rathaus and Porta Pretoria.
You may also choose to embark on an optional guided excursion to the Benedictine Monastery in Weltenburg.
Day 4
Passau / Linz
Join a guided city walk or choose a full-day guided optional excursion to Salzburg.
Afterwards, enjoy an afternoon cruising to Linz.
Upon arrival, enjoy a free afternoon to explore on your own time.
Day 5
Melk / Wachau Valley / Vienna
Join your Adventure Host for a walk around Melk and the Danube River or take a guided tour of Melk’s Benedictine Abbey.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a scenic sailing through the picturesque Wachau Valley.
Upon arrival to Vienna, you may choose to attend an optional excursion to a Royal Waltz Concert.
Day 6
Vienna
Explore Vienna’s Danube Island by bike alongside your Adventure Host, explore the Habsburg empire on a guided city tour or a short walk of Vienna, followed by a guided visit to the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
There is also an optional guided excursion to Schonbrunn Palace on offer for today.
Day 7
Budapest
Hike to a viewpoint in Budapest alongside your Adventure Host or enjoy a guided city sightseeing. After, enjoy some free time to embark on excursions of your choosing.
Day 8
Budapest (DISEMBARK)
Your cruise ends after breakfast this morning.
