Day 1
Oltenita (EMBARK)
Today, your adventure begins – be sure to board your ship before 5pm.
Day 2
Rousse (excursions to Veliko Tarnovo & Arbanassi)
Bike around Rousse alongside your Adventure Host or join a guided sightseeing tour of Bulgaria’s largest inland port and Holy Trinity Church. Alternatively, join a full-day guided tour to Veliko Tarnovo.
Day 3
Vidin
Join a bike ride or guided tour of Belogradchik with a visit to the Baba Vida Fortress in Vidin. This evening on-board, you’ll enjoy a live Bulgarian folklore show.
Day 4
Donji Milanovac / Iron Gates Gorge (excursion to Lepenski Vir)
Before lunch, you’ll enjoy a scenic sailing through the spectacular Iron Gates Gorge. After, either stretch your legs on a walk led by your Adventure Host or join a guided tour of Lepenski Vir.
After a brief sailing to Golubac, you’ll enjoy a guided visit to its fortress.
Day 5
Belgrade
Discover Belgrade’s central walkway with your Adventure Host, join a guided sightseeing tour of the city or attend an on-board lecture on the rich history of the Balkan States.
Day 6
Novi Sad
Walk alongside your Adventure host, join a guided tour of Novi Sad, embark on a walking tour to the Petrovaradin Fortress or attend a tasting at the Museum of Beekeeping and Zivanovic Wine Cellar in Sremski Karlovci.
Day 7
Ilok / Vukovar
Take a walking tour of Ilok – with included wine tasting. After, enjoy a short sailing to Vukovar during lunchtime. Upon arrival, embark on a walking tour.
Day 8
Mohacs (excursion to Pecs)
This morning, join a guided sightseeing tour of this quiet Danube harbour town or embark on a guided tour to nearby Pecs.
Day 9
Budapest
Choose between hiking up to a viewpoint over Budapest with your Adventure Host or a guided sightseeing tour.
Day 10
Budapest
Today, you’ll enjoy free time to explore at your leisure.
Day 11
Bratislava
Choose to either follow your Adventure Host on a hike to Bratislava Castle or join a guided walking tour of the Old Town.
Day 12
Vienna
Explore Vienna’s Danube Island by bike or explore the Habsburg empire on a morning guided city tour. You may also opt into a guided excursion to Schonbrunn Palace.
Day 13
Durnstein / Wachau Valley / Melk
Start your day with a guided hike up to castle ruins or a guided walk discussing the legendary tale of King Richard the Lionheart.
Later, you’ll sail through the scenic Wachau Valley.
Upon arrival at Melk, join your Adventure Host for a walk along the Danube, take a guided tour through Melk’s Benedictine Abbey or enjoy an on-board wine tasting.
Day 14
Linz
Today, you’ll join an afternoon guided city walk. Alternatively, opt into a full-day excursion to Salzburg. Otherwise, spend the afternoon at your leisure.
Day 15
Schlogen Oxbow / Passau
Join your Adventure Host on a hike from Oberhaus along the Ilz River or embark on a guided city walk into Passau.
Day 16
Vilshofen (DISEMBARK)
Disembark after breakfast and begin your journey home.
