Balkan Adventure Cruise Review

“A very well organised tour with plenty of interesting excursions included—great attention to customer comfort and abilities. The food was wonderful, with excellent choices and very much orientated towards local ingredients, although there was always a burger and chips available if you wanted it. The boat accommodation was excellent, and the local guides gave great insight into the history and culture of each country. It was so good that we would certainly use this company again.”

Balkan Adventure FAQ

Find answers to some of the most common questions about river cruising here.

Which visas do I need?

When you make your reservation, our helpful bookings team can tell you which visas you’ll need based on your cruise transit locations and destinations. Always apply well before your cruise departure date – we recommend three to four months in case of delays. However, for some destinations, you may need to apply six months ahead of your holiday. If you need a letter confirming your holiday details to accompany a visa application, your booking representative can provide this.

When will I receive my travel documents?

Your travel documents are sent electronically on average two to three weeks before your cruise date. Always check the details carefully. We may ask for some last-minute information and if we do, you can provide this by email or telephone.

I am flying in for a few extra days in the departure location before my cruise. How do I meet the travel representative?

If you are already in the cruise departure location, we will email you with a time and venue to meet your tour group.
