Day 1
Paris
Flights into Paris must arrive by 2:30 pm and guests must be on board the ship by 5 pm.
Day 2
Vernon / Les Andelys
Explore Chateau des Tourelles, go on a guided tour of Giverny* or a guided visit to Bizy Castle. Onboard, enjoy a French luncheon and a pastry demonstration. Hike to the ruins of Château Gaillard or join a guided walking tour of Les Andelys.
*Monet’s House is closed in March and November so this excursion will be replaced with a guided tour of La Roche-Guyon and its castle during this period.
Day 3
Caudebec
Go on a bike ride along the river or a guided trip along the Normandy Abbeys Route. Consider an excursion to Honfleur.
Day 4
Caudebec / Normandy
Go on a guided tour of Normandy’s WWII landing beaches, a full-day guided tour of the British and Canadian commemorative sites, or the “A Taste of Normandy” guided tour. Live entertainment on board.
Day 5
Rouen
Join a guided bike tour or a guided walking tour of Rouen.
Day 6
Conflans
Try a bike ride along the Seine, a guided visit to Auvers-sur-Oise, or a guided tour of the Château de Malmaison*. Consider an excursion to the Palace of Versailles.
*Château de Malmaison is closed the first Sunday of each month and on the 21st of September. On these dates, this excursion will be substituted with a visit to Château de Chantilly.
Day 7
Paris
Explore the Seine by foot, join a guided walk of Paris or a guided city tour.
Day 8
Paris / Bordeaux
Travel to Bordeaux and board your ship.
Note: In the evening, the ship may sail to Cadillac-sur-Garonne based on tide and water levels.
Day 9
Cadillac-sur-Garonne
Join a guided tour of Château de la Brêde or a guided visit and wine tasting at a local château. Live entertainment on board.
Note: Sailing to Cadillac-sur-Garonne depending on tides and water levels. Alternative motorcoach transportation for today’s excursions will be provided.
Day 10
Cussac Fort Médoc
Join a guided E-bike tour in Bordeaux’s wine region or a guided visit to a château.
Day 11
Blaye / Bourg
Join a guided visit to the Citadel of Blaye or a guided tour. Consider learning how the Fine Champagne of Cognac is made. Live entertainment on board.
Day 12
Libourne / Saint-Émilion
Try a guided tour of Saint-Émilion.
Day 13
Bordeaux
Embark on a guided walking tour of Bordeaux. Consider an excursion to Les Bassins des Lumières.
