From Lyon to Dijon, or in reverse – this spectacular Rhone and Saone itinerary conducts guests through a coveted selection of France’s highlights. Explore famous landmarks, bike through rolling landscapes and sample local delicacies along the way.
Day 1
Dijon (EMBARK)
This morning, check out of your hotel and embark on a scenic drive through the French countryside to Dijon in order to embark your ship and begin the cruise.
Day 2
Port of Dijon
Embark on a city tour of Dijon, visit the Cheateau d’Arcelot or enjoy a guided bike tour along the Saone river.
Day 3
Seurre / Chalon-sur-Saone
In Seurre, join either an excursion of Beaune, the Art du Tonneau Cooperage Experience or a guided walking tour of the city.
Later, re-board your ship for a scenic sailing on the way to Chalon-sur-Saone or opt to sample vintages on a guided wine tasting.
Day 4
Chalon-sur-Saone
Start the day with either a historic city tour or active bike tour of Chalon-sur-Saone.
Later, return to your ship for a scenic cruising to Tournuus. Alternatively, opt into a Chalonnaise wine tasting or a Chalon to Tournus bike tour.
Day 5
Tournus
This morning, enjoy a city tour and visit to the Abbey of Saint Philibert. Alternatively, choose to join an adventure to either the Chateau Cormatin or the Medieval Brancion.
