Day 1
Arrive in Lyon (EMBARK)
Arrive in Lyon and embark the spectacular Scenic Sapphire.
Day 2
Lyon / Chalon-Sur-Saône
Choose between several excursion options: join a guided tour of Beaune and Les Hospices, visit a local estate in the heart of Burgundy or learn about WW2 in Chalon-sur-Saone.
Day 3
Tournous
Today, join an excursion to Chateau de Cormatin, enjoy a truffle tasting or attend a cooking class at Georges Blanc.This afternoon, bear witness to the tradition of barrel making.
Day 4
Tournon
Embark on a walking tour of Tournon, hike through the city’s vineyards or opt for a scenic bike ride along the Rhone. This afternoon, guests will enjoy a drink on Tournon Castle’s terrace.
Day 5
Avignon
In Avignon, guests can choose to join a walking tour, visit Pont Du Gard or enjoy a Kayaking activity (at Pont du Gard). This evening’s Enrich Event affords guests a private classical concert and dinner at the Pope’s Palace.
Day 6
Avignon
On day six, join an excursion to the Luberon Villages and Senanque Abbey in Gordes. Alternatively, attend a wine tasting in Chateauneuf du Pape, visit the Lavender Museum (featuring the village of Roussillon) or join your ship’s chef shopping for ingredients to use in a cooking class.
Day 7
Arles
Embark on a guided tour of Arles, visit Les Baux (with Carrieres de Lumieres), explore the ancestry of the kitchen or join a provence herbal workshop in the Lavender Fields.
Day 8
Viviers
Spend your morning on a walking tour of Viviers or a walking tour specialising in the French resistance. This afternoon, continue your adventure with either a visit Ardeche Nature Park (with Caverne du Pont-d’Arc Museum), a cave exploration in Ardeche Nature Park or join an excursion to Grignan de Provence.
Day 9
Cruising to Lyon
Guests spend today relaxing on a scenic sailing on the Rhone river. Tonight’s Enrich Experience brings you to the Trinity Chapel for an exclusive acapella performance.
Day 10
Lyon
Join a guided tour of Lyon, attend a silk painting workshop or embark on an excursion to Perougues.
Day 11
Lyon / Bordeaux (FLIGHT)
Disembark and board your flight to Bordeaux where you’ll be transferred to the Scenic Diamond.
Day 12
Bordeaux / Saint-Emilion
Spend your morning on a scenic cruise to Saint Emilion – you may wish to attend a French cooking class. Spend the afternoon on a guided tour of the caves and catacombs underneath the city, featuring an included visit to a Monolithic church.
Day 13
Libourne / Fort Medoc
Join a walking tour of Libourne, a wine tasting at Chateau Siaurac, a different wine tasting at Chateau tasting at Château Fleur Cardinale or bike to Chateau Siaurac for a separate tasting. Alternatively, join a local artist for a class on your ship’s Sun Deck.
Day 14
Fort Medoc
Choose between either a Medoc wine tasting by either coach or bicycle. Tonight presents an Enrich classical concert at Chateau d’Agassac.
Day 15
Cadillac
This morning will be spent scenic cruising. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore independently.
Day 16
Cadillac
Explore the Sauternes either by coach or bike. Later, choose between visiting Roquetaillade Castle, biking in the Loupiac Wine Region or visiting the Chateau Toulouse-Lautrec.
Day 17
Bordeaux
Today presents either a guided tour of Bordeaux, a cycling tour of the city or a shipping trip with your ship’s chef for a cooking demonstration. This evening, join an Enrich experience to Les Bassins de Lumiere.
Day 18
Bordeaux / Bourg
Join an excursion to either the Cite du Vin Museum, tour of Bordeaux via Motorbike and Sidecar or visit Arcachon.
Day 19
Bourg
Today, join a tour of Bourg (featuring the Carriages Museum) or a full-day excursion to Cognac.
Day 20
Blaye / Bordeaux
This morning, choose between a walking tour of Blaye, active walking tour of the city, guided cycling along the Captain’s Road and visit Chateau de la Roche Courbon.
Day 21
Depart Bordeaux (DISEMBARK)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight.
