Traverse along the Rhine on a journey from Basel to Amsterdam – enjoying a selection of tours, tastings, bike rides and a range of coveted attractions along the way. TUI presents a selection of hand-picked excursions to historic locations and glamorous landmarks.
Day 1
Arrive to Basel (EMBARK)
Your cruise begins in Basel. After settling into your ship, explore a range of attractions from the Botanical Gardens and Basel Zoo.
Day 2
Breisach
Enjoy a choice of adventures today; embark on a walking tour of Breisach, a spectacular wine tasting, Colmar city tour and pay a visit to the popular St Stephen’s Cathedral.
Day 3
Strasbourg
Spend the day touring Strasbourg alongside an informative guide or wander through Obernai on a tour that concludes with a wine tasting.
Day 4
Speyer
Explore the fascinating historic sights of Speyer – enjoy a guided walking tour and embark down the German Wine Route.
Day 5
Rüdesheim / Koblenz
For the first half of your day, take a few hours to explore Rudesheim – famous for its wine production. You may wish to book an excursion showing a coffee making demo.
At lunchtime, we sail on to Koblenz, where you can take a cable car up to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, overlooking the UNESCO-designated Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
Day 6
Cologne
Spend the day touring and tasting your way through Cologne; try some of the city’s locally-brewed beers and pay a visit to its famous cathedral.
Day 7
Amsterdam
Enjoy a cruise along Amsterdam’s canals and tour the vibrant city. On offer today is an excursion to Edam an Zaanse.
Day 8
Depart Amsterdam (DISEMBARK)
Use your final few hours in Amsterdam to take in some scenic views before your departing flight.

The TUI Isla affords guests access to an on-board sauna, whirlpool and loungers within the ship’s designated wellness area.
Is there special assistance available?
TUI River Cruises are not generally suitable for customers with reduced mobility. There isn’t a lift on the ship and there are no wheelchair accessible cabins available.
What are TUI’s recommended highlights for the trip?
TUI recommends paying a visit to Cologne’s Cathedral, taste-testing famous Rudesheimer coffee and riding Koblenz’s cable car.
