Traverse across Holland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary on this spectacularly-designed itinerary; featuring a tasteful blend of Classic, Active and Discovery excursions. Day 1
Arrive to Budapest (EMBARK)
Welcome to Hungary – report to your suite ship before 5pm to begin your adventure.
Day 2
Budapest
For your first day, either join an Active hike to a viewpoint overlooking Budapest or a Classic guided sightseeing excursion around the city’s famous sites.
*Guests may wish to book additional paid excursions: ‘Bites & Highlights of Budapest’ / ‘Art & Architecture of Budapest’.
Day 3
Bratislava
Spend today on a Classic walking tour of the Old Town and its historical sites or follow your adventure host on a short Active hike to Bratislava Castle.
Day 4
Vienna
Kick off the day exploring the island by bike with your Adventure Host on an Active Excursion or opt for a Classic guided city tour of Vienna’s coveted landmarks. Alternatively, join an Optional Excursion to Schönbrunn Palace. This evening, guests can choose to attend a Royal Waltz Concert.
*Guests may wish to book additional paid excursions: ‘Schonbrunn Palace, Cultural Gems of Austria’ / ‘Classical Concert’ / ‘Bites & Highlights of Vienna’.
Day 5
Durnstein / Wachau Valley / Melk
This morning, take an Active guided hike up to Durnstein’s castle ruins or join a Classic guided walk exploring the tale of King Richard.
Over lunchtime, secure a good view aboard your ship as we sail through the draw-dropping Wachau Valley.
In Melk, join your Adventure Host on an Active walk along the Danube or take a Classic guided tour of the Benedictine Abbey. Later, enjoy a wine-tasting on board.
Day 6
Passau
This afternoon, join a Classic guided city walk. Alternatively, you may wish to join a full day Optional Excursion to either Salzburg or Cesky Krumlov.

Day 7
Regensburg
Explore Walhalla by bike on an Active ride with your Adventure Host or join a Classic guided city walk to see the Altes Rathaus and Porta Pretoria. Otherwise, you might join an Optional Excursion to the Benedictine Monastery in Weltenburg.
Day 8
Roth (excursion to Nuremberg)
Start the day with a Discovery on board lecture about the Main-Danube Canal. Later, embark on a Classic guided tour of either Roth, Nuremberg or Nuremberg’s historic rally grounds.
Day 9
Bamberg
For today, choose to attend a Discovery on board lecture about European history and culture. Later, opt for either an Active bike ride along the canals in Bamberg or join a Classic walking tour of the city’s historic highlights.
Day 10
Volkach
Bike along the Main-Danube canal on an Active Excursion with your Adventure Host or attend a Classic walking tour of Volkach. You may also join an Optional Excursion to Rothenburg to see the local sights.

Day 11
Würzburg
Spend the day enjoying an easy Active bike ride along the river, or join a Classic sightseeing tour of Wurzburg.
Day 12
Miltenberg
Today presents the opportunity to join a Classic walking tour of Miltenberg.
Day 13
Rüdesheim / Rhine Gorge
This morning, embark on an Active hike through Rudesheim’s vineyards or tour the Mechanical Music Museum on today’s Discovery Excursion.
During the afternoon, relax on board as we cruise through the dramatic Rhine Gorge – past the famous rock of Lorelei.
Also on offer for tonight’s Discovery Excursion, is the opportunity to attend a classical music concert at Engers Castle.
Day 14
Cologne
For today, choose between adventuring on an Active guided bike ride, Discovery walking tour of Cologne’s important Jewish Heritage sites or a Classic guided city walk of Cologne.
Day 15
Amsterdam
Start your final full-day with an Active early morning walk through Amsterdam. Later, join a Classic guided canal cruise, Optional Culinary walk, Optional biking tour of the countryside or Optional guided excursion to Zaase Schans.

Depart Amsterdam (DISEMBARK)
