Awake in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, known as the ‘Pearl of Asia’. Visit the monastery and temples in Oudong, Cambodia’s former royal capital, and receive a traditional Buddhist blessing. Tour a silk farm at Koh Oknha with Emerald DiscoverMORE.

Phnom Penh
Today, learn about the Khmer Rouge and Cambodia’s dark history. Visit the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Enjoy a Cambodian Street Fair lunch on board ship before a visit to the magnificent Royal Palace and Central Market.
Day 4
Cross Vietnam/Cambodia Border – Tan Chau – An Long
Sail to Tan Chau, take a sampan to Evergreen Island, and visit a local farming community. As part of EmeraldPLUS, explore Cao Dai temple, followed by a ride in a Xe Loi, unique to the Mekong Delta. Return to the sampan and tour a Mekong fish farm.
Day 5
Gieng Island – My An Hung
Visit local communities on Gieng Island, working in a variety of industries, including making incense sticks for local temples and boat building. Sail to My An Hung Island, a cultural and historic destination. Enjoy some local folk singing with EmeraldPLUS.
Day 6
Sa Dec – Cai Be
Take the sampan to Sa Dec and stroll around the town on a fascinating tour. Visit the Chinese Congregational House in Kien An Chung and the central market. After lunch, explore Cai Be including a coconut candy workshop and a French colonial heritage villa.

My Tho – Ho Chi Minh City
