Welcome to Delhi – India’s capital city. Transfer to Imperial New Delhi – your luxury hotel in the heart of the city. After, report for your first Signature Experience:

Begin the day with an electric rickshaw ride to both the Chandni Chowk market and Jama Masjid – India’s largest mosque. You’ll also visit the UNESCO-awarded Qutub Minar. Later, you’ll enjoy two Signature Experiences:

After a scenic drive from New Delhi, arrive at Humayun’s Tomb to admire its impressive architecture. You’ll also have the opportunity to view the breathtaking India Gate before we continue onto Agra. This evening, choose between two restaurant options:

• Peshawri: authentic flavours of the northwest frontier cuisine
• Taj Bano: assortment of Indian and international gourmet selections.

Agra

Get an early start to marvel at the Taj Mahal – a breathtaking wonder of the world. Next, you’ll continue onto the nearby Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah before returning to admire the Taj Mahal at sunset. Tonight, enjoy a Signature Experience:

• Sufi Performance: a private performance

Agra > Fatehpur Sikri > Ajabgarh

Today, we’ll set off for Ajabgarh – stopping along the way to visit the UNESCO-listed Fatehpur Sikri. Afterwards, continue on to your luxurious hotel in Ajabgarh – settling in via a guided nature walk. This evening, enjoy a Signature Experience:

Begin the day with a peaceful yoga session. You’ll have the opportunity to choose between three organised activities:

• Bhangarh Exploration: explore this ancient town
• Jeep Safari: venture to one of the nearby villages

Over the course of your day, you’ll enjoy two Signature Experiences:

• Cooking Class: hosted onboard, eat your creation for lunch

Ajabgarh > Jaipur

This morning, travel to Jaipur for a tour of the city’s most iconic attractions – including the Amber Fort. For lunch, visit a traditional vegetarian Indian Restaurant. This evening presents a Signature Experience:

• Private Workshop: learn how to craft your own block prints

Jaipur > Kolkata

Explore Jaipur on your chosen excursion:

• Pink Rickshaw Tour: experience Jaipur via a pink rickshaw, driven by women
• Jantar Mantar: visit this UNESCO-protected astronomical observatory
• Jaipur Bicycle Tour: bike through the old city. 

After, you’ll board a flight to Kolkata, spending the afternoon at leisure.

Kolkata

Begin the day with a Signature Experience:

• Heritage Tram Ride 

Afterwards, pay a visit to Kumartuli, traditional potters’ quarter. This afternoon, enjoy another Signature Experience:

• Glenburn Penthouse: afternoon tea

Kolkata (EMBARK SHIP)

This morning, you’ll have two options for sightseeing:

• Mallick Ghat Flower Market 
• CIMA Gallery and Sasha NGO Tour

Afterwards, you’ll board the Ganges Voyager. Following an onboard lunch, venture to the Victoria Memorial. Return to your ship and enjoy a performance by Baul musicians.

Kolkata > Bandel > Kalna

Join a walking tour of Kolkata

Kalna > Matiari

Wake up and set out on an early morning walking tour of some of the city’s best-preserved colonial buildings. You may also wish to take a tour of St John’s Church. After lunch, we’ll continue along the Lower Ganges. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the Hooghly Imambara.

Matiari > Khushbagh

After breakfast on board, disembark to explore Kalna, the City of Temples. Board a rickshaw for a ride to some of Bengal’s most distinct terracotta temples, the Rajbari royal palace complex and the Shiva temples. In the afternoon, opt to spend some time strolling through the city’s local markets on the way back to your ship.

Khushbagh > Baranagar > Murshidabad

This morning, we’ll cruise to Barangar. Disembark for a relaxed walk of the local sights – including the Car Bangla Temples. Re-board your ship during lunch for an afternoon at leisure on the way to Murshidabad. Upon arrival, tour the Hazarduari Palace and delight in a 

Signature Experience:

• Tea at the Kathgola Palace. 

This evening, ride a toto to the Katra Mosque.

Murshidabad > Mayapur

After a peaceful morning at leisure, we’ll arrive in Mayapur for an informative visit. You’ll learn about the Hari Krishna community and view the final stages of construction for the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium.

Chandannagar

The day begins with a peaceful cruise to Chandannagar. Stroll along the city’s promenade, admire the french architecture, visit the Sacred Heart Church and Dupleix Museum. This evening will be spent at leisure as we continue cruising.

Varanasi (DISEMBARK SHIP)

After an early breakfast, disembark your ship and travel to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. You’ll enjoy some time at leisure to settle into your hotel before this evening’s Signature Experience: 

• An Aarti: private ritual/old-age tradition

Varanasi

Begin the day with a Signature Experience:

• Sunrise along the Ganges 

Afterwards, select your freedom of choice activity of the day:

• Visit Sarnath
• Silk Weaver Visit
• Walking Tour

You’ll spend the rest of the day at leisure. Celebrate your adventures at this evening’s farewell dinner. 

Depart Varanasi
