Ljubljana Walking Tour: On your local-led tour, you’ll get to see the open-air market, parliament, congress square, and the Triple Bridge, as well as ride a glass-walled funicular up to Ljubljana Castle to tour the historic fortress and enjoy its panoramic view over the city.
Ljubljana

Lake Bled with Bee Farm Visit: This morning, drive to Lake Bled and begin your excursion with a tour of Bled Castle with an expert guide. After, enjoy some free time for lunch on your own before meeting back with your guide at the dock, where you’ll board a traditional pletna boat to sail to Bled Island. There, your guide will show you the church and the “wishing bell” tower.
Sail back to the shore and reboard the motorcoach to drive to a local bee farm, where you’ll learn about Slovenia’s beekeeping traditions, taste some of the honey made on the farm, and make your own beeswax candle.
Ljubljana / Transfer to Venice
Enjoy today’s excursion:
Postojna Cave: On your way to Venice, discover Postojna Cave Park. Inside, board an open-air mini train to traverse this fascinating karst landscape. Halfway through your ride, learn about the history and unique environment of the caves as you follow your guide down an approximately mile-long walking trail, arriving back at the train to return to the cave entrance.
Afterwards, stop at a nearby restaurant for a rustic lunch before continuing on to Venice to board the S.S. La Venezia.
Note: we recommend you bring a warm jacket to wear inside the cave, regardless of the weather outside. The cave is kept at a constant 50°F year-round.
Venice

A Walk in Venice with Doge’s Palace Visit: Discover the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Square and historic Castello district during today’s excursion.
Note: the amount of walking during this excursion is extensive.
Nights Out: Private After-Hours Visit to Saint Mark’s Basilica: Discover Saint Mark’s Basilica tonight and observe its magnificent domes, mosaics telling the story of the New Testament, the relics of St. Mark, and countless other treasures.
Note: It is not always possible to arrange an after-hours visit to St. Mark’s Basilica if religious functions or festivities are taking place in the evening, such as during the week of Easter. On such occasions, an alternative option will be arranged.
Venice / Mazzorbo

Evening Stroll in Burano: Explore the many marvels of Burano, including its brightly painted fishermen’s cottages and lace-making tradition, with your Cruise Manager just before dinner. While you’re here, you’ll get to visit a historic lace-making atelier to see some of their delicate work.
Padua Walking Tour: Join your local guide on a walking tour of mediaeval Padua. Discover the cafe where revolutionaries met to plot an uprising against Austrian invaders in 1848, the largest public square in Italy (Prato della Valle), and the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua. You will have free time to explore Padua independently.
Vicenza with Teatro Olimpico: Set out for Vicenza and discover firsthand the Teatro Olimpico. Afterwards, enjoy lunch on your own in town.
A special Captain’s Welcome Reception and Dinner will be prepared for you this evening.
Mazzorbo / Burano / Chioggia

Torcello: Hidden Treasure of the Lagoon: Experience the grandeur of the basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, the oldest church in the lagoon. See the stunning 11th-century mosaic of the Last Judgment with expert commentary from your art historian guide.
Before heading back to the ship, enjoy a cup of coffee at a little Osteria on the island.
Chioggia
Enjoy today’s excursions:
Chioggia Market Visit: Experience Chioggia’s wholesale fish market – one of the largest in Italy – as well as Corso del Popolo, a dynamic outdoor market hosted on Thursdays that sells everything from clothes, shoes, purses, gadgets and “every-day” domestic items.
Let’s Go: Biking Chioggia: Set off on a light bicycle ride along the beaches of Chioggia to Lusenzo Lagoon and Isola dell’Unione.
Bragozzo Ride with Tastings at Ca’ Zen: Head to Chioggia and board a genuine Adriatic wooden sailing boat, a bragozzo.
After your sailing, return to shore for a visit to Tenuta Ca’ Zen, a Venetian villa with expansive grounds that you can explore, as well as an antique stable, a family chapel, and more. Rejoin the group for a tasting of local products, including organic olive oil, wines, honey and cheeses.
A Noble Country Villa and Its Wines: With a sommelier as your guide today, learn about the long history of winemaking in the Veneto region. Visit Dominio di Bagnoli, one of the oldest wine producing properties in Europe, for a private tasting. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the granary on your visit today.
Palazzo Goldoni: Visit the 17th- century estate that once hosted famous Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni. Enjoy a cup of tea on the terrace while a local string musician enchants you with their music.
Chioggia / Venice

Po Delta Sailing: Set sail today on the waters of Italy’s largest nature reserve park – the UNESCO-protected Po Delta – and enjoy refreshments onboard as you sail for 2 hours through the wetlands.
Castello del Catajo Visit: Set off for the Euganean hills and enjoy a guided tour of a palace so beautiful that it became a resort for the Habsburg Dynasty before being returned to Italy following the first world war. Continue on for a guided walk around the palace’s revered gardens or take some free time for yourself to explore independently before returning to the ship.
Venice
Enjoy today’s excursions:
Do as the Locals Do: Venice Walking Tour: Experience the famous Rialto markets and explore arcades with your guide (the ship’s chef often accompanies this expedition), who knows Venice’s culinary arts intimately. At the end of the tour – and after some free time – join your guide at a bacaro (a casual wine bar) for the Venetian version of happy hour, called ombra e cicchett.
Venice Walk with Gondola Artisans Visit: Get an early morning start to see the Dorsoduro and join a walking tour around this side of town before moving on to visit a gondola artisan.
Ca’ Macana Mask Atelier: An integral feature of the Carnival of Venice, masks are known for their intricate beauty and wide variety of styles: today, see for yourself how these masks are created at one of the top handmade mask ateliers in town.
Rowing Venice: Venice is known for a unique style of rowing, which is used by athletes who race batellina boats. Try this technique for yourself in a lesson led by Row Venice, a non-profit organisation of female rowers dedicated to preserving the sport and supporting female rowers.
A special Captain’s Farewell Reception and Dinner will be prepared for you this evening.
Fusina
Disembark the S.S. La Venezia and travel to Fusina to board the Seabourn Ovation.
Rovinj
Rovinj is perched on a domed headland and has narrow, cobbled streets spiralling up to the Church of St. Euphemia, whose Venetian-style campanile crowns the community.
Vis Island
Located about 30 miles off the Croatian coast, Vis is the most westerly inhabited island in the Adriatic and is the largest in the Vis archipelago – a designated UNESCO Global Geopark and biodiverse haven for many species, including bottlenose dolphins, giant devil rays, and blue-fin tuna. Closed to foreigners until 1989, Vis remains sparsely populated and much of it is covered in vineyards, pine groves, and citrus orchards.

Civitavecchia
Disembark the ship after breakfast and transfer to Rome.
