Set sail along the Douro on this breathtaking ten-night adventure Portugal and Spain, exploring a selection of picturesque landscapes and popular tourist attractions.

Day 1

Arrive to Porto (EMBARK)

Arrive in Porto to board the MS Riviera Rose – your home for the next 10 nights.

Day 2

Porto / Regua

This morning, enjoy a coach tour of Porto. In the afternoon, we set sail for Regua, where we’ll stop for dinner at the spectacular Quinta Da Pacheca.

Day 3

Castelo Rodrigo

Today begins with scenic sailing along the Douro. Later, join a guided tour of the walled village of Castelo Rodrigo.

Day 4

Salamanca

Spend the day venturing through Salamanca on an informative walking tour. Guests also enjoy the opportunity to enjoy lunch whilst watching a live flamenco show.

Day 5

Pinhao (Quinta da Avessada)

Kick off the day exploring the renowned Quinta da Avessada and enjoying a delicious lunch. This evening, enjoy free time to explore Pinhao independently.

Day 6

Lamego & Mateus Palace Gardens

After breakfast, join a short drive to Lamego, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore under your own steam.

After an onboard lunch, continue on to the Mateus Palace to explore its impeccable gardens.

Day 7

Vila Nova de Gaia & Guimaraes

Today, choose between two adventure opportunities; either attend a port-tasting in Vila Nova de Gaia or embark on a guided tour of Guimaraes.

Day 8

(Day 1 of Extension) – Coimbra & Fatima (DISEMBARK)

Today presents the opportunity to tour Coimbra University and visit the shrine of Fatima.

Day 9

(Day 2 of Extension) – Lisbon

After a hearty breakfast, spend the day on a guided tour of Lisbon’s highlights.

Day 10

(Day 3 of Extension) – Sintra

Your final day presents a visit to the hillside town of Sintra. Guests will also have the option to visit the Pena Palace.

Day 11

Return home

Transfer to the airport to begin your journey home.
