Day 1
Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia (EMBARK)
Arrive to Portugal’s largest city, transfer to your ship and enjoy a Welcome Reception during the evening.
Day 2
Regua, Lamego
Enjoy picturesque views of vineyards, take part in a Portuguese language lesson, visit the village of Lamego and the baroque cathedral Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies.
Join our Insider Experience to a local quinta for a scrumptious dinner of traditional dishes.
Day 3
Vega de Terrón, Castelo Rodrigo
Join an excursion to Castelo Rodrigo, a tiny village overlooking both Spain and Portugal. Explore well-preserved ruins, an impressive castle and a stone statue of Santiago Matamoros.
Day 4
Salamanca
Explore the glorious Spanish city of Salamanca, arguably one of the most beautiful in spain. On our Insider Experience, enjoy a fiery performance at Flamenco show.
Day 5
Regua, Mateus Palace
Head to a local quinta for a tasting of local port wine, Portugal’s most famous tipple on our Insider Experience.
Enjoy an on-board Portuguese cooking demonstration, board a coach to the Gardens and Palace of Mateus to tour this living-museum still owned by the Count of Vila Real.
Day 6
Regua, Entre-os-Rios
Use your free time to explore Regua; wander along the riverfront or venture into the Old Town.
Afterwards, we continue to the town of Entre-os-Rios where you’ll continue your exploration before returning to your ship for an energetic performance of traditional Portuguese music.
Day 7
Porto
Join a fascinating tour of nearby Porto, passing the city’s most famous attractions and local port winery for a tasting. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your leisure or embark on an optional excursion to the UNESCO-designated city of Guimaraes.
Day 8
Porto (DISEMBARK)
After enjoying breakfast on-board, disembark your ship to begin your journey home.
