“We are regular European visitors, but we wanted to see things from a different perspective, and this cruise really did not disappoint. There is the option to do all the usual touristy things, but we did sneak some chillout days on the boat and just stayed put. The views are incredible and especially through the Rhine Gorge, it’s such an atmospheric river, it’s hard to tear yourself away from the water. Of course, the cuisine and service were a big part– they were both excellent!”

If you haven’t travelled by water, then you’re missing a trick – the river is never the same any two days in a row and has a mystery and drama all its own. The boat is the most amazing location to come back to, very well equipped and incredibly private because it sits on the water. For wine enthusiasts, this is definitely one to pick with incredible vintages on the menu every night.”

“We were worried that we might be a bit young for the cruising set, but there was a real mix of ages on board and a great vibe. We are keen train travellers, so this was a first for us. We thought we might feel a bit restricted, but there are loads of opportunities to disembark and lots to explore, which you can do free range or follow guided tours with experts – we did a mixture of the two. The quality of accommodation and service on board easily match a five-star hotel with the beauty of a constantly changing view. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.”
