Your adventure begins in Regensburg – where you’ll arrive this afternoon. Board the Spirit of the Danube and spend your afternoon exploring the ship.
Day 2
Regensburg
Known as a religious centre, Regensburg features various medieval churches and a rich history for guests to enjoy exploring today. In the afternoon, join an included walking tour from the ship into the city.
Day 3
Passau > Linz
We’ll spend the best part of today in Passau, a cultured city with a wealthy past and many fine buildings to explore. Independently arrange a visit to St Stephen’s Cathedral, or perhaps the Bishop’s Palaces.
Day 4
Linz
Look forward to a full day at leisure in Linz, a diverse city of modern architecture mixed with baroque-style buildings. Perhaps opt to wander the city’s historic old town, or dive into the creative arts scene.
Day 5
Melk > Wachau Valley > Krems
This morning, we’ll spend some time in historically rich Melk. View the city’s towering abbey and spend some time exploring. In the afternoon, we’ll re-board and continue sailing through the UNESCO-awarded scenic Wachau Valley.
Day 6
Krems > Vienna
Today, an included excursion brings you through Krems on foot, visiting the impressive Gottweig Abbey.
Day 7
Vienna
As the capital of Austria, Vienna is home to a variety of cultural attractions. Join an included tour of the city, including the Ringstrasse, ornate Austrian Parliament Building and gothic St Stephen’s Cathedral.
Day 8
Depart Vienna > UK
Your journey concludes here. Disembark and board your return flight to the UK.
