Lower Danube Discovery Cruise Itinerary

Venture for fifteen days along the lower Danube, calling at a selection of breathtaking ports. Embark on a solo sightseeing journey, or opt to join TUI on a variety of optional adventures available for pre booking.

Day 1

Arrive to Budapest

You’ll begin your cruise in Budapest, Hungary’s renowned capital. Board the TUI Maya and spend the afternoon unpacking and settling in. We’ll stay here overnight so you’ll have plenty of time to explore tomorrow.

Day 2

Budapest

Spend the day exploring this unique city’s various attractions and elaborate architecture – ranging from the Parliament Building and Buda Castle- which are located on either side of the riverfront. Alternatively, join TUI on a shore excursion:

Day 3

Mohacs

Day 6

Iron Gates

Spend day six enjoying the comforts offered aboard the TUI Maya – as we’ll be cruising throughout the day. A notable highlight is the breathtaking Iron Gates, a natural wonder located on the Serbia-Romania border.

Ruse

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Bulgaria’s fifth-largest city. Enjoy the impressive architecture and various historical sights on offer either independently or on one of TUI’s optional excursions:

Vidin

Donji Milanovac

Novi Sad
