Spend 6 days on a round trip originating from Mainz, calling at ports in Bonn, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Koblenz. Immerse yourself in festive spirit by paying a visit to a range of coveted Christmas markets, as well as working in some sightseeing along the way.
Day 1
Arrive to Mainz (EMBARK)
Begin your festive adventure in Mainz – visit the Markt Square or visit the historic Mainz Cathedral.
Day 2
Bonn
Spend the day exploring 1,000 year old churches, extravagant malls and presidential palaces in the city centre.
Day 3
Cologne
This morning, visit the Christmas Markets in Cologne. You may also wish to explore some other popular landmarks; including the twin-peaked Gothic cathedral.
Day 4
Dusseldorf
After heading to Dusseldorf’s harbour, enjoy a front-row seat to the city’s towering avant-garde-style-buildings. You may also wish to explore the Old Quarter.
Day 5
Koblenz
Prioritise a visit to Koblenz’s Christmas Markets. Once you’ve finished shopping, you may wish to explore the UNESCO-designated forts and palaces that sit along the waterfront.
Day 6
Mainz
If there’s time before your flight home, head to the Christmas Markets for some last-minute shopping. Otherwise, you may choose to go for a wander of the Kirschgarten area.
