Over the course of eight days, adventure through the Danube’s most coveted attractions. Enjoy breathtaking architecture, rolling scenery and a blend of historic landmarks with ultra-modern additions.
Day 1
Arrive to Passau (EMBARK)
Touch down in Passau for your first day. After unpacking, perhaps dedicate some time trying local snacks from one of many cafes.
Day 2
Linz
Explore Linz’s collection of churches, abbeys and baroque buildings scattered around the Main Square. Later, you may wish to visit the city’s ultra-modern museums and art galleries.
Day 3
Krems
There’s plenty to see in Krems; you may wish to pay a visit to the 15th century gates, Piarist Church and a collection of art galleries.
Day 4
Vienna
Jump on the U-Bahn train into the heart of Vienna – where you’ll spend the day exploring the city’s fantastic architecture and priceless works of art.
Day 5
Bratislava
Spend the day adventuring through Bratislava’s scenic hilltops – pay a visit to the city’s stunning castle, Art Nouveau church and ornate opera houses.
Day 6
Esztergom / Budapest
This morning, spend a few hours in Esztergom – home to a huge basilica known as the largest church and talling building in Hungary.
Later, we’ll continue to Budapest for the night.
Day 7
Budapest
Adventure through Budapest’s highlights; visit the Fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle. Recline in the evening with a drink in one of several quirky ruin bars.
Day 8
Depart Budapest (DISEMBARK)
Before your return flight, spend some time taking in Budapest’s architecture.
