Danube Delights Cruise Itinerary
From Budapest to Nuremberg, guests spend eight days venturing alongside TUI along the Danube river. Set your own pace, independently exploring at leisure, or opt to pre-book a selection of guided excursions with TUI.
Day 1
Arrive to Budapest
Your cruise sets sail from Budapest, the sparkling capital of Hungary. Board the TUI Isla and spend the afternoon settling in and getting to know your fellow guests.
Day 2
Esztergom
Today, we’ll spend a few hours in Esztergom. This small rural town boasts a wealth of attractions. Visit the basilica, both the biggest church and tallest building in Hungary. You may wish to join TUI on a shore excursion:

Day 3
Vienna
We’ll spend day three in Vienna – Austria’s gilded capital city. From your port, board a U-Bahn train to the city centre, or opt to venture to the southern region – which contains palaces and grand concert halls.
Day 4
Durnstein / Melk
Day six of your itinerary will be split between Durnstein and Melk. This morning, we’ll disembark in the small town of Durnstein and explore its famous castle, where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in 119. Later, we’ll continue on to Melk to explore the city’s grand architecture and historic old quarter before continuing on to Durnstein.
Day 5
Passau
This morning, we’ll cross into Germany. Enjoy the picturesque scenery presented by this city; winding lanes, tall churches, cafes and an Italian-inspired cathedral backdrop your exploration. Join TUI on a shore excursion:

Regensburg
