Budapest
Arrive at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport and meet your Uniworld representative before transferring to the Four Seasons Gresham Palace Hotel or an equivalent five-star resort.
Day 2
Budapest (Embark), Vienna
Leave Budapest on the Golden Eagle Danube Express destined for Vienna with lunch on the train. Arrive in Vienna and explore the Naschmarkt or visit the famous Schönbrunn Palace. Later, enjoy a private concert by the Vienna Supreme Orchestra.
Day 3
Lake Achen, Innsbruck
Travel from Vienna into the Alps on one of Europe’s most scenic routes through the Semmering Pass, the village of Kitzbuhel, before arriving at picturesque Lake Achen, where guests enjoy a cruise. Later, head to Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol.
Day 4
Vorarlberg, Zurich
Witness the beautiful vistas of the Vorarlberg from the comfort of your seat as you head through St. Anton, Lichtenstein, and into Switzerland. Pass stunning Lake Zürich before arriving in the city. Explore the Old Town’s waterfront promenades and enjoy a Swiss fondue tasting.

Lake Como, Milan
From Zürich, take the scenic climb alongside the Lakes Zug and Lucerne to the St. Gotthard Pass before descending through Lugano to Lake Como in Italy. Lunch by the lake and then enjoy a cruise on the water plus a trip to Bellagio. Arrive in Milan.
Day 6
Verona, Trieste
Pass beautiful Lake Garda and arrive in Verona, where guests enjoy an informative walking tour of all the key sights. Take a train ride to Trieste with lunch on board. Stop at Miramare Castle and the famous Church of San Giusto with its precious mosaics.
Day 7
Lake Bled, Ljubljana
Witness spectacular scenery as the train leaves Trieste, climbing over the hills into Slovenia before descending through the Julian Alps to Lake Bled. Later, travel to Ljubljana with a guided tour, including Preseren Square, the Three Bridges, and Dragon Bridge.
Day 8
Postojna, Venice (Disembark)
Today, enjoy a private visit to the Postojna Caves before returning to your train and heading south towards Venice. Check into the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal or a similar five-star hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Venice at your leisure.

Enjoy an extensive walking tour of this island city starting at the Doge’s Palace, filled with magnificent artistic gems. Stroll the historic Castello district, a living neighbourhood. In the evening, experience a private after-hours tour of St. Mark’s Basilica.
Day 11
Venice, Mazzorbo (Burano)
Choose a trip to one of two UNESCO World Heritage cities, vibrant Vicenza or medieval Padua. Later, reboard the ship and sail across the lagoon to Mazzorbo and colourful Burano, famous for its lace-making. Tonight, enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Dinner.

Today, explore the northern lagoon of Venice and two captivating islands. First, with an expert guide, visit Torcello, older than Venice and with a famous basilica. Later, discover rural Mazzorbo and the renowned glassblowing artisans of Murano.

Discover Chioggia, a classic Lagoon fishing village with a lively market known as the Pantry of Venice. There is the option of a light cycle ride along the beaches of Chioggia or a visit to Dominio di Bagnoli, a wine estate, for a tour and private tasting.

Chioggia, Venice
Join a sailing excursion and explore the Po Delta, where the Po River and the Adriatic Sea meet. There is also a trip to discover one of Europe’s finest castles, Castello del Catajo, with stunning frescoes and beautiful gardens.

Are three people per room allowed?
The S.S. La Venezia has some triple accommodation suites (excluding the Royal Suite). The ships that allow triple bookings do change, so we advise you to check with your Uniworld travel adviser for the most up-to-date information.
Is there a laundry service available?
The S.S. La Venezia has a guest laundry on the Torcello Deck, which has self-service facilities and an ironing board. The Grand Suites and all the Suites on the Murano Deck have a free in-suite laundry service.
Is smoking allowed on board the ship?
Smoking is allowed on the ship’s Sun Deck but prohibited everywhere else, including all public areas, suites, and staterooms. The smoking ban includes tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and vape devices. Uniworld asks guests to refrain from smoking on shore tours and excursions, and many tourist attractions and historical sites now have a no-smoking policy.
